Managing Director of Mid Kent, Paul Seeley had this to say: “I would like to thank our customers for the magnificent response they have given during the drought in helping to reduce the demand for water. Their efforts combined with the hosepipe restriction enabled us to maintain essential supplies during the worst drought since 1933. We are confident that given normal spring and summer rainfall we will have sufficient resources to take us through to next winter.”

Let’s hope that’s the case.
