You’re not the only one with these views and not just about Mid Kent Water. It’s an interesting point about having some proof from them that underground supplies are still low. Presumably Ofwat looks at such things?

I still think there’s a case for not paying water bills in the way that a few pensioners have defied councils over council tax. Where they’ve always gone wrong in my opinion is that there aren’t sufficient numbers involved. If say a few hundred people got together and said they weren’t paying their water bills then something ‘might’ get done.
